Irechek Peak

Irechek Peak is located on the main Musala ridge. It is the high, steep peak visible directly ahead of Musala Hut, which is why first-time visitors to the area often mistake it for Musala Peak itself.

The peak is named after Konstantin Jireček, a Czech historian and author of the first comprehensive scientific history of the Bulgarians.
